I know this has been posted millions of times, but I just wanted to share my accomplishment since it took me a while to get this guy in one piece.

I took down the gunship and it crashed in the pile of cars...

Yeah, the Gunship, and I believe Striders, all have "compound eyes", like insects.

It's obvious that those things are mutated beings, with combine technology from previous worlds the combine's conquered. You can hear them make a weird scream, so do the striders, plus the striders die in an animal way. They're insects, thats for sure... You only need the multi faceted eye and the wings to tell. Anyone got more ideas?

The 'eyes' are actually used to breathe. Look at the model in HLMV.

with impulse 101 you can gheh just hitit 5+ times with your rocket launcher

dont spoil the fun, not everyone is a l33t gamer you know.. its far more amusing putting cl_ragdollcollide 1 into the console ... spawning metrocops at the top of a staircase, (the long one at the start of route Kanal), and magnuming them in the head so they collect in a predictably gay pile at the bottom. , nothing beats the randomness, the randomness is what makes it fun.

On Highway 17, when you just drove up a ramp through a window, a Gunship appears. Then there is a barricade of cars and rocket ammo. Now if you take it down when the Gunship is NOT over the ocean, it won't blow up and will crash on the road.

I remember seeing the man take down the gunship in the E3 Video, I tryed it a car just took out half of my health.
