On my computer i have a grafic card with a 64 mb.
Will be runing wery slowly or will it run normal.
Thank to everyone that answer on this!!!!!

Can i get some more answers. Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

probly will struggle 2 run it, ive got a 128mb but im hoping

Remember, it aint all about the ram. If you're running at 1024 an 128 mb and 256 mb gforce 6800 ultra wont make alot difference.
But 64 mb...it's a long time ago since they made cards 64 mb, so I'm guessing it wont be running it good. Go out and buy a radeon 9800 pro...you'll get one for 200 $.

I runed a test that sayed that i can play it in 800x600 and maybe better.

actually MAx, they still sell 64mb cards...

those poor Apple users are still getting 64mb FX5200 AGP cards in the G5 PowerMac and the new G5 iMac.

yes, a 2000+ dollar dual processor 64 bit computer with a 64mb 4-pipe last-generation graphics card. so it could be worse for donald...he could be on a Mac.

and donald, dude, you'd get some more help if you learned to type. seriously. "I runed a test that sayed i can play it?" I do hope english is a second language for you. let me help you with that phrase i quoted, just for example: "I ran a test that said I can play it"

see how that works?

You're being vague to the point of comedy here, man.

answer some questions and you might get some help on here:

• what is your processor speed and type (pentium 4 or AMD XP or celeron, for example.)?
• what type of graphics card do you have (other than graphics memory amount)? is it ATI, nvidia, integrated? is it a 9600SE or a 5200Ultra or a Geforce 3 MX? details are necessary.
•*how much SYSTEM ram do you have, not graphics ram (unless you have an integrated graphics card, and then well...sorry).
• any other details you know about your computer.

if you purchased over Steam already, then run the CS:S "stress test" from the main menu in CS:S and see if you get over 20 fps at 1024x768...

if not, then you'll be lucky to play it with your current setup.

That's actually "I ran a test that said I could play it" :P

how will hl2 run with 512 ram and GForce 5200?

Should run fine. CS: Source works on this computer, and it has a Radeon All-In-Wonder 7500 in it. Probably only 64 megs, maybe 128.

Edit: Graphics

also, my friend would like to know, what about a 512 RAM 128MB GeForce 4 MX card?

if it is a TI 4200, then oc and you should be able to squezee 1024x768 with max details with some tweaking so...:D

I don't know too much about GeForce cards, but it should work fine, though maybe only on low settings at worst.

About my bad spelling.Im from Denmark.
I can play doom 3 with not any big proplems.
Enyone that now how much better the grafic in half life 2 is.is it much better then in doom 3 or is it as good as that.

Denne sætning er på dansk så i vil nok ikke kunne forstå denne sætning.

Maybe Just see how it is and if it sucks just upgrade

Or do the video stress test that is, if you have counter strike scource

My computer have:
More then 2GHz Processer
64mb. graphics memory
512mb. system memory
Windows XP
32 bit Architecture

well seeing how this seems like a nice thread to ask questions on the matter.

Right now i have a Radion 9200 128 graphics with 256 RAM and a 1.7 Gz Processer. Im getting an X800 for Christmas but im wondering to get HL2 to run better till then should i upgrade RAM or a Procesor first? I had heard romurs that under 2Gz wouldnt run games that well. Also what would you suggest i get for both a New processor and RAM?

AMD AthlonXP 1800+
512MB RAM
GeForce3 Ti500 (64MB)

Hoping it'll run decently until I upgrade in a few months' time. I'm hopeful it'll be ok on the lower settings as I managed to run Doom 3 without too much fuss. God damn the constant need to upgrade anyway!

Solidox, I strongly recommend upgrading your RAM and processor if you want to get the most out of the X800 you're getting for Christmas. At the very least you should probably get a 3ghz processor and 512MB RAM, but the more the better. You'll most likely have to upgrade your motherboard as well, as the one you have probably doesn't support the latest processors. My motherboard's not that old and I can only go up to an AthlonXP 3000+ as far as I'm aware.

i knew i was going to im just wondering what to do first? both are fairly expencive and i dont have a job that pays very well so i can only upgrade proboly 1 before Chrismas and one after so what should i do first?

I think it cost to much.So im just going to see how it works on my computer and take that.Good or not.But thank you for the help anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
