Ugh, all this does is make me want the game more! I have no interest in getting the leak but I would kill someone in front of his own mother to get the game released. And if anyone tried to testify against me, I'd stab their eyes out.

I dunno but still leak users are no so bad...
they took a risk when they choosed to d/l the leak of the best game of the year... and i cant blame them... valve had pushed it more then enoguh... gamers beening pissed off daily because if delays.
i played the b3t4 it`s not so bad alot of textures arent there objects but the phy`s are wonderfull!. i cant say more but there is a welding feature. u figure that out ^_^.

I didn't look at all the vehicles (only the buggy, don't want any spoilers ) but I can say that probably the closest you can get to driving the buggy is the buggy in Desert Combat for BF1942.

There is only one other vehicle. (Not counting the one where you get in and can't drive/get out) (Mentioned in my earlier post) I have not seen it. I don't even think it works. And I am sorry if I spoiled anyone with my Much Needed Truth About Beta post.

BTW I'm still open for questions about the beta, and I need you guys to tell me if you want another big post on other beta info. Again, I will not give out any specifics.

God damn i want this game and all this talk of really scary monsters is making me want it even more, i just hope that they don't kill barny. I really don't want to be playing the game a second time round knowing that barny is going to bite the big one and i can't do anything about it.

It's not quite the same. The name of the map in the beta is devtest. It seems to me that it was probably a playground for new stuff they coded in, and later turned it into a level.

But your point remains valid, the stolen build is crap. It's nothing compared to what you seen in the Bink videos (although the visuals look about the same, there are alot of missing textures/etc in the stolen build). Everything flows MUCH more smoothly in the Bink videos, while the stolen build.. seems "chunky," if you know what I mean.

I deleted the stolen build, takes the temptation away and adds to my want for HL2

Mm i played the beta also..played trough all the levels in it very fast, and thank GOD i don't remember in my head how alot of the maps were like. (with directx9 enabled)
I do remember parts of the storyline however, and some scenes with alyx for example i wish I hadn't seen. But I don't remember alot.. wich I'm very glad about when i look back.
Also I had seen the E3 video, so alot was already seen in video.

What I learned from this: NEVER download a beta again. I'm still growing up, have to learn things :]
