Half-Life 2 Deathmatch. Free or for sale?

A simple question... Is Half-Life2: Deathmatch free and downloadable via Steam, or do I have to pay for it?

If you've purchased Half-Life 2 you can then download Counter-Strike Source and Half-Life 2 Deathmatch.

There is no such package. HL2: DM and CS:Source is always included with Half-life 2, unless by a shop you mean a big guy under a bridge at twelve o clock at night...
I'm not sure whether they are actually on the DVD/CD or whatever, but they are included in the purchase.

Their is no mention of hl2dm on the box.

But it does come with a free download of it.

I'm pretty sure it will only install Half-Life 2 and Counter-Strike:Source. After installing and you open Steam it'll update HL2 and CS:Source, and you'll be able to download Half-Life 2 Deathmatch via Steam, under the "My Games" list.

We don't have a video game store :E Only computer shops, in which one may buy a pricey original game. Then again, you could go to a supermarket and buy a Russian rip for 5-10$.
