Half-Life 2: Platinum

Hi, this is my first post on this forum

Remember when they announced, in april I think, the HL2 Platinum Pack. The release date was set june 1st along with Episode 1. And still nothing in sight, no update from Valve, no news on the matter whatsoever. The reason why I'm pissed because of this, is that I planned to buy EP1 with Platinum Pack. Because the price of 50$ for all of those games in one box set is a bargain. I'm a proud owner of HL1 + Expansions and HL2, but thats all I have from their catalog. The box set includes DoD, HL: Source and EP1 - that's the stuff I don't own.

Various sites state that it's going to be released june 27th, so that's a few days from now, on the other hand we have gamespot and amazon that says we wont see the product until february 2007.

I hope somebody on this forum knows a little more than me, thank you

it definitely won't be february 2007, that seems utterly ridiculous... we'll have episode two by then.

for what it's worth though, HL:S isn't really worth buying, since it's just HL with pretty water and unsolvable bugs, and you can buy DOD:S and Ep1 seperately for $40 total.

i agree with ennui hl:S is a waste to buy really all thats new is the water and better physics.
