Eb has an exclusive relationship with VU and they are saying November. Take a quick look around almost any game retailer's website and they are saying November.. Now think about all the other triple A titles coming out in Novmeber.. HALO 2 being one of the most prominent considering the game has been done for months (I really dont want to argue about that find your own info.) Now think about why an executive would release such a game in november... Anyone hoping for an october release is simply just wanting to believe it... Flame me bash me whatever.. It is so funny to see people posting there release dates from game stores only to see other seasoned posters bash them for it..
No one knows the release date and its certainly possible that VU could change there mind and release this in October. Is that likely??? NO. usually when a publisher maps out a strategic plan of releasing a product they dont go back on that plan... This needed to be said regardless of if it gets closed.
