Half - Life 2 Uglier?

I've heard troublesome news from a friend.
He has apparently stumbled over some pictures of H-L 2 dated not so long ago.
The graphics in the the game had decreased!If these are really true pictures is not 100% sure but they are H-L 2 pics.
If these are really true then Valve has been out sailing for a long time!
If this happens then i might not bee recable from you of this world! :x

Who will march with me to find out if his is true? :sniper:

Best bet is that you saw pictures of the beta leak with low details on.

And the U3 engine wasn't that impressive it was just a litte updated Doom 3 engine

Ok this is the cionclusion Valve propably never had these graphics to begin with.
But just took renders in some of the apps avaliable.
Later they realised that these graphics couldn't be made.
And they decided to anounce a theft of H-L 2 source code.
And now they can say that the graphics wasn't restorable due to amnesia.

That's one the most absurd allegations I've heard in a long time, to be honest.
