I just finished it.. took me less time than Doom3 ! anyway:

Will HL3 be available in 2009 ? i'm ready and volonteer to give my free time to Valve for beginning the work right ****in now !

hmm... i think more of an hl2 expansion pack, just like hl expansion pack, opposing force did reveal more of the story line

i'm new to HL.. i played CS for many years but never to HL.. so i know nothing about the story.. except what i've seen in HL2.. that Gordon is a slave of G-Man and G-Man is some king of E.T.

expect HL3 to arrive around 2006/2007. they said it won't take them another 6 years to make HL3 because they already have the base technology (source) and only need to work on content that will take them around 2/3 years max

But they're going to take a break,. start mid 2005,. with luck they'll be done around 2008. But if they get too ambitious, we may just have to wait untill 2010.

But no worries.. the longer it takes, the better it will be!

Anyway they give us a pretty fun toy ! imagine i can modeling my Probe GT turbo with 3dsm and create textures with shaders and put it in a mod i make and i give it a weight, etc and i can make a small village full of people on the streets.. see me coming ??

They should really bring back Carmageddon with the source engine...those games were the funnest to play because it was basically twisted metal on crack.
