Halflife2 fails to load

Ok im simply remaking this thread as if got washed of a few days ago when it was a major topic for some people.
well when i try to launch a game nothing happens. its all 100% ready so i double click the game or click launch and it will say "preparing to launch Half-life 2 deathmatch" and it dissapears and nothing happens. lots of people have the same problem thats why im remaking this thread. this problem also occurs when trying to load any half-life2 connecting games including counter-strike.

I'd the same problem when trying new drivers. Tried other drivers, poof, problem gone.

Try using the Omega drivers for your card.
