Halif Life 2 replacement weapons?

I wanted to play through HL2, ep1, ep2 with different weapons. Does anyone know if someone created another set of weapons for HL2 series that I can install? You would need to install the textures and the sounds... and then the physics I'm not sure which file that's stored in at all.

Would love to know what I can do to mess with the weapons or get new ones for another glorious play thru!!:afro:

I highly recommend SMOD. It adds some other changes to the game in addition to a whole new arsenal of weapons, but if this is okay with you then you'll have a blast. It's really a crazy fun mod. I don't know if there is a mod out there that just gives you a new set of weapons and nothing more.

You need the first 3 links, and then you can get the other links if you want higher quality/alternate models.

I want to repeat that this does change many aspects of the game, but it's still the HL2 campaign. Even if you aren't interested in this, I really recommend giving it a try, it's a blast.
