dear friendlies of half livestwo.net,

I am VERY excite about newcoming of episodes 2 plus orangish box of 360 degree xbox. what is your opinions on this new phenomenal? i looking forward to play this game, very incredible fun such as half-life 2 originally.

but i must make one question please, if possible to answer: i have intel machine with pentium IV processing power, would this capable of executing half live second episode? with geforce 4 card, thankyou in advanced friendlies! :) :) :) :) :) :)

please excuse my english levels, i have not spoken of this language in some years to come.

Oh, thank you the god of funny. I am in your debt.

supertrooper, give us some more details on your computer, please.

You English is understandable. At least I saw you tried.

More of the Pentium IV CPUs can deal with Half-Life 2 episodes. But I am sure it won't be in high-end.

A geforce 4 card of the MX persuasion is unable to drive the second most episode's demanding visual presentation as the mages at the Apparatus That Regulates the Flow of Substances have decreed to outlaw the weakling DX 7.0 sect of the most revered extended family of graphical devices. :)

I tried to capture your poetic quality of writing supertrooper. Good job! Specially considering this is the first time you have used English in a long time.

To make myself clear, if you have a Geforce 4 MX card you are out of luck. EP2 no longer supports that card, even though you could play HL2 and EP1 with it.

What? BAH!

*flings MX card far far away*

yep, thats true alright, ep2 does not support the geforce 4 mx card along with alot of other current day games. also, all geforce 4 cards do not support HDR technology..

The MX cards does not support *any* shaders, let alone HDR. Actually HDR is a much more recent addition and even relative heavy weights such as the X800 series does not support it. But even so it will be able to play EP2 with ease, only it will have to use Bloom lighting instead of HDR.

dear Friendlies, thankyou for kind. :) :) :)

i am geforce titanium-alloy fourthousandtwohundred. is this work? does this MX card?

also i am make forgotten to have mentioned but i will take opportunities of now: the system memorial ram is sevenhundredsixtyeight megayte. thankyou. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

i hope it become capable of working with two episode.

Wow that's a crappy online translator you're using. Anyway, it should be able to run episode two, though not at full graphics settings. HDR is out of the question.

For people who don't understand his last post:

P4
768mb ram
gf4 ti 4200

Yeah a GF4 TI would be able to run EP2....But you'll probably have to turn shader detail to "low", run at 1024*768, no AA or AF.

Jintor, what FX card are you referring to? A lower model like a 5200 will run HL2, but you'll have to force DX8 mode to get a playable framerate. On the other hand a higher model as a 5900 would be able to run in DX9.0 mode, but you'll have to turn off full HDR and use Bloom instead.

Come on you guys... don't tell me I'm the only one here who remembers supertrooper. Friendlies! :) :) :)

..

My shitty old geforce fx 5500 ran hl2 at a 1024 by 768 res with 0 aa af, at a bloddy 27 fps..

now ive got a geforce 7800 gs, which will probably do the same with EP2..

Could of swore we banned him ages ago.
