This is less than an hour from where I live. Drugged and hauled to multiple parties and raped repeatedly while in a comatose state. School officials and government officials all in the conspiracy. Anonymous is ****ing superman right now for uncovering this ****ed up shit. Goddamnit

I shouldn't be reading about this at work because this is making me feel sick, enraged, and disgusted that this is happening there. Steubenville is about an hour or so from me and I want to head there with my GTA bat and take in all of there faces.

Is it possible to lose so much faith in humanity that you start going into negative figures? Because I swear I was already at zero and yet here we are.

Anyone want to help concoct a plan to attack them since I'm so close? Haha.....

That ****ing picture, them dragging her around....my god...

Why is this happen?

Its nice to see groups like Anonymous doing some vigilantly justice. Hopefully all these assholes become well known pedophiles and have a very very difficult life and end up killing themselves and the world won't give a shit about them.
My biggest wish is that their dicks fall off and that that they choke on dicks in jail.

Speaking of which, can we bring back castration for this one case? At the very least chemical.

These are broken people who do not deserve to exist.
Absolutely agree.

Honestly, if you treat someone like the way they did, I say you forfeit any right to be alive. I don't care if they are just kids or what. To do something like that, there has to be part of you that just isn't right and never will be right. Throw those f***ers that just stood by and watched in with the rest of them.

I was planning on going to the Occupy Stuebenville last week since im only about an hour away but I sadly was unable to attend.

Really does make me quite sick to my stomach

Wow, that is...rather impressively awful. It's not even like the Casey Anthony case where the prosecution's evidence was flimsy shit and big-name media crucified her for ratings. These are some pretty incontrovertibly personal and disturbing pics/videos.

So yeah, they were found guilty. And apparently CNN feels bad for the rapists.

CNN Reporter said:
"Incredibly difficult, even for an outsider like me, to watch what happened as these two young men that had such promising futures, star football players, very good students, literally watched as they believed their lives fell apart...when that sentence came down, [Ma'lik] collapsed in the arms of his attorney...He said to him, 'My life is over. No one is going to want me now.' Very serious crime here, both found guilty of raping the sixteen-year-old girl at a series of parties back in August."
CNN Guest Speaker said:
"The most severe thing with these young men is being labeled as registered sex offenders. That label is now placed on them by Ohio law...That will haunt them for the rest of their lives. Employers, when looking up their background, will see that they're registered sex offenders. When they move into a new neighborhood and somebody goes on the Internet, where these things are posted, neighbors will know that they are registered sex offenders."

They talk as if these are unfortunate and unjust consequences. I'm pretty sure in that entire newscast they don't even mention the VICTIM OF THE RAPE, and instead go on about what a shame it is that these rapists are now considered rapists and how sad it is that everybody is going to be able to know they ****ING RAPED SOMEBODY.

And then you realise the right-wing element of Western society really isn't that far removed from the right-wing element of the third world.

And then you realise what a twisted view of what people think left wing and right wing mean on the other side of the Atlantic.

Yeah, I've read stuff about this recently. There's an e-petition going around to try and get CNN to apologise on air for sympathising with rapists and failing to mention the victim. Just in case anyone wants to see it:
http://www.change.org/petitions/cnn...utm_medium=facebook&utm_source=share_petition

Doubt CNN will care but it's 260,607 signatures strong with 39,393 apparently needed (at time of posting).

that's pretty much how it has always been. in the aftermath of the Hadditha massacre CNN and other news outlets bent over backwards to excuse their behaviour by saying pretty much after every sentence something to the effect of; "we have to remember the soldiers are under a lot of pressure". Not once did they mention the victems names; they were nameless victems of overworked and overstressed american heroes. by framing it in a certain way the media outlets can softball or even misdirect their readers into believing whatever it is they want to believe; usually whatever their editorial slant is. fox"news" does this pretty much as a policy

Oh dear, being labeled a sex offender for violating a defenseless girl for hours on end. What unjust and awful consequences for their completely defensible actions. ****, I really hate major news outlets. This is why I read local newspapers: they actually have real journalists on staff.

"CNN Reports On The ‘Promising Future’ of the Steubenville Students, Who Are ‘Very Good Rapists’"

Anyone else read it like that?

f*Cking trigger warn this shit

Anyway, no, because this shit pisses me off that people are actually sympathizing with these f*cking C.H.U.D.-tier subhuman sacks of shit and I'm always angry enough as it is.

What's sad is this happens all the time and gets thrown out in court instead. It's probably happening right now. It upsets me greatly.

It bothers me that none of the little ass clowns that just stood there and watched (let alone the ones that took pics/vid/texted about the incident) were punished. And I hope their sentence includes jail time after they reach 21, 4-5 year sentences for treating someone like that I think is pretty damn light.

And then you realise the right-wing element of Western society really isn't that far removed from the right-wing element of the third world.
I've only seen left wing people crying about a harsh sentencing on this. With what I've learned in life I've become a libertarian, but I still live amongst right wing people, and the sentiment regarding this case is lock them up and throw away the key so I don't really get what you're getting at.

These guys are disgusting, and I'm frankly flabbergasted that people would cover it up to protect a HIGH SCHOOL sports team. This isn't even about money like you might see in a higher level sports team so it's just straight up confusing why they did that. Penn State type situation all over again

I've seen people on the left and right sympathize with the rapists, but the majority of people on both sides agree that its BS. It is odd that Stiggy said right-wing though, since the news network I posted about was CNN...

Really, people are turning this into a left-wing VS right-wing political thing? F*ck literally everybody that even says stupid stuff like "it's mostly the right/left wingers that are sympathising/condemning the rapists" because that's a massive truck full of horse shit.

Anyone who sympathises with them is an idiot because there is no excuse for rape. I could give a rat's ass what side of the politic spectrum I perceive them to identify with.

Disclaimer: I think most of the "left-wing media" is actually right-wing by global standards, it's only left-wing by label and in comparison to what's labelled as the right wing. The important part is that anyone making excuses for the rapists is awful.

To basically the entire rest of the world America has two right-wing parties and no left-wing at all. Also in the rest of the world left-wing and right-wing refer to economic policies and have nothing to do with social conservatism or social liberalism.

Exactly this. It always baffles me when I hear Americans saying that liberal=socialist=communist.

Keynesian fiscal policies are left wing to us, we determine our right/left wing based on economic policies mainly. Thus this administration and the democrats in general are usually left wing.

Social policies are changing so much that the two parties will soon not be so different as far as those goes. Rand Paul and other leaders in the Republican party like him are reshaping the ideals of that party to be more open socially (IE: stop jailing children for drug crimes, prevent domestic drone strikes, prevent wiretapping etc) while advocating fiscal conservatism/right wing money politics. It is funny that the party that started those practices ends up being the one leading the charge to end them, and faces opposition to doing so from the party that originally led that charge, but a decade of time passing makes a giant difference.

Our left/right has a very different dynamic than Europe's, that's very true. Ours comes down to economics and taxes really.

Nothing you just said is even remotely how I perceive America's political situation.

Holy shit you people are retarded are you really turning this into a f*cking debate holy f*cking balls.

Well we've pretty much established that everyone here is sickened by the CNN shitbags. Its only natural that hl2.net extrapolate that into calling other people shitbags based on simple association.

I dont think anyone was debating, really just discussing. Theres not much else to say about the rape itself until sentencing. It is what it is. no need to get all bent out of shape because rape in the context of political policies was brought up, it was a legitimate offshoot especially with comments from politicians like Todd Akin in recent times. Join in on the conversation.

Has it really been that long since people have had a political disagreement on these boards that it warrants a full-scale "your all dumb" freak-out?

no I just like calling people dumb but mostly Rakurai

not so much that's he dumb but more that he's f*cking white
