Helicopter in Route Kanal

I am new. Can't get past this friggin Helicopter in Route Kanal.
What do I do?

You shoot it down. Use the hunter chopper gun they gave you and dodge its bombs and just keep shootin it.

or if you are before you ghet the gun just simply run like hell and dodge the mines as best as possible

i dont remember bombs dropping from the helecopter but u jsut have to run to some place to get to anothor place i dont remember what that place is but its someplace in hl2

After falling down the little slippery ramp, you have to go to your left, jump on the platform at the end. Following the path you will reach a bunch of barrels. Behind them is a door, go in it and you should be good.
