HL2 novice here; I enjoy the game a lot. I hail from the city of Pittsburgh, home of the Super Bowl Champion Steelers.

Quick question - I'm at the Water Hazard level, where the 2 APCs sit on the dock. I've destroyed the APCs, blown up the barrels inside the cargo container, and I am trying to jump the ramp (from under the dock, of course) to enter the tunnel. Every time I try, I crash into the ramp, no matter how far I back up. Is there something I'm missing here?

Could you post a few screenshots where you are? Just go in the game, and press F5. That's the default screenshot button. Now, go to www.imageshack.us and upload the screenshots. The screenshots are in your steam/Steamapps/USERNAME/Half-Life 2/hl2/screenshots directory.
Then, post the links to the screenshots in your reply here.

You just have to drive in a completely straight line. Not much to do about it if you can't progress

You can also try swaying through the air to one of the sides, and then continue through the tunnel.
