Howdy,

I know nothing of DVD drives but I want one! So this is where you have to help me. I want a relatively good one, preferably a reputable make. I'd be prepared to pay about £70 max.

Any help with the matter would be much appreciated!

70 pounds.. thats pretty damn much.. I got my BenQ DVD-RW for euro's..
anyway.. if you give us a list of drives to chose from i'm sure we should be able to find one that suits you best :)

Sorry but I really have no idea about DVD writers so dont even know where to start looking. I hope you can still help, I just want something that will do everything at a decent quality.

supposing you're from UK since you're using pounds.. try searching through some online hardware shops. you should get loads of info there..

tip: the speed isn't really of that much importance just get a DVD writer that can write both DVD+R and DVD-R (yes there's a difference, don't ask me what it is cause I honostly don't know) and ofcource also write re-writebles..

good luck!

I had found the NEC3500 earlier tonight and am planning to buy it! Thanks for your help...:)
