help me plz, game crashes in black mesa east

hey there, my game crashes when I get 2 black mesa east, I dunno whats wrong but when I get there, they scan me n stuff, then this girl comes and walks me 2 the elevator, when the elevator door opens she just freezes there, and I just cant do anything, I waited alot and tried that over 20 times but its still the same, she just stands there :S plz help me

Did you use any cheats? Sometimes if you use something like notarget, the game can freze up.

The only other thing that can cause this is missing files, and the only way to fix this is to reinstall the game. Well, thats the only way I know, try waiting for more replies and try to contact steam or something like that.

Are you using a warez copy? If so, thats why its broken, go buy the game. If not, then validate your HL2 files: type steam://validate/220 in the address bar of your browser and press enter
