right, so I've finally decided to give this whole Linux business a try just to see if it's better for me than Windows is, but unfortuantly I can't decide what distro to use, seeing as there's so confusingly many of them.
Basicly what I want to use my computer for is image editing, writing, listening to music, and the occassional session of WoW. I want a distro that's clean and efficent,
and also offers some degree of support for using Windows programs (seeing as I can hardly imagine life without iTunes and Picasa).
I'm also not that good with computers, so ease of use and configuration is very important. I don't want to have to muck around with text-commands and a million different fiddly settings, if I can help it. So something that's relatively easy to install and get up and running would be great for me : )
So, any suggestions on which distro I should get?
