I read through the forums and get embarressed cos most 'help I'm stuck' posts seem to come after the Citadel. And I'm stuck in it. Hopefully some kind soul will take pity on a casual gamer like myself (only played thru HL2 just last month)
I think I'm at the last machine that fires the beams into the generator. Its the one where you have to ride the support beams above the big glowing ball of energy. If you take a small energy ball into the machine, it gets about halfway thru getting the beam machine out and then jams. Putting a new ball in doesnt work. Jumping down into the crawl space leads to a new room with more broken ball machines, is a dead end and you can't jump back out.
What do I do next?
