Help with playing Halflife:Deathmatch

I just bought halflife:deathmatch off the internet and downloaded it fully. When I try to play it on my brand new computer it shuts off and restarts automatically. When it boots back up an error occurs and it says my graphics card is to high to run this program. I have a graphics card called NVIDIA GeForce 6200. I've gone to NVIDIA's website to download their latest graphics driver and it tells me that my current graphics driver is more recent than the one I'm trying to download.
