I downlaoded Half-Life 2 - Mistake Of Pythagoras and i followed the readme and restarted steam like the readme says and it didn't work so i decided to copy it to steam steam apps my account file then half life 2 and done copy and the seemed to go in the right files but it still didn't work so i deleted all the Half-Life 2 - Mistake Of Pythagoras files and now my sound is messed up so i thought i might reinstall the game but then i don't have a CD key, so does anybody have any backup files for the sound or a new CD key so i can reinstall it and once i manged the sound can somebody tell me how to get Half Life 2 Mistake Of Pythagoras working
I would really really appreciate if somebody could help me out please cna somebody help me

Well, obviously no one is going to HAND you a CD-Key.

First of all, if you have HL2 legally, you should be able to login to your STEAM account, not needing the CD-key at all...

And by the way, try punctuation. Lot easier to read...

i did buy half life 2
P.S. Beerdude26 what does validating do

Validating checks your files against the steam server, to see if they're all as they should be.

What is Half-life 2 Mistake Of Pythagoras...lol? Have i been living under a stone or is that some random title?

If you did buy HL2 why ask us for CD key? Just wondering thats all.

And as for fixing the mod, your supposed to put it in the SourceMods folder...Not your Half-Life 2 folder.

*How to Install*

Please copy this "MOP" folder into your Steam/SteamApps/SourceMods folder.
(If there is no SourceMods folder, create it under SteamApps.)
re-start Steam.
You should see "Mistake Of Pythagoras" appeared in the game list.

Barney i asked for another CD key because i thought if u unistall and install again you would need another CD key

Oh yeah i tried that with MOP and it still hasn't appeared and i ahve doen the right folders

I installed it yesterday and found out the problem. It places it in some folder like "ks_mop_v1c" which isn't the right directory. Under that folder is ANOTHER folder named 'MOP'

You need to drag'n'drop that MOP folder outside of the 'ks_mop_v1c', so that in your SourceMods folder, the game should be under 'SourceMods\MOP' instead of "SourceMods\ks_mop_v1c\MOP\'

Hope that helps...

More to the point, err, where the heck do I go after the level starts - I can't find a way out of anywhere!

And hello to all those old boys who 'may' remember me, it's been a long while since I last posted here, but I used to be a regular.

NO sir, You don't need a new CD key whenever and every time you reinstall HL2, Only the original CD key you bought with the game is needed for verification and the integrity of the game and you, if you intend to play online.
