Help

Despite this being post No. 1, I am not a gaming newbie, although I am completely stuck very early on in HL2.

At the train station, I have crossed the tracks, through the carriages with the crates and climbed onto the roof of the carriage with the sofa in it, jumped over the fence and down the stairs and have met a dead end.

I have gotten back up and over the fence anc killed the goons but I can't seem to see where to go next. There seems to be a walkway high up but it seems very high to be stacking crates and barrels.

Help please.

These barrels don't explode.

This is the part where you climb up a ladder inside one of the freight carriages of the train, onto the roof, jump across onto a roof of another train and then jump across a fence. At the other side of the fence, ahead, is a fence with a gate leading to stairs, which go down but lead to a dead-end.
