HL They Hunger patches?

I just downloaded the original They Hunger for HL since I never got a chance to play it. Dose anyone know if they were some patches made for it when the game went to Steam. So far it seems that the rain outside wants to flow upwards and I'm sure there more stuff I havent come accross yet.

I'm pretty sure there it was never patched to Steam as they thought it wouldn't date well. You'll have to run HL independantly. However there were some patches to the later editions of Half-Life which you will need to run They Hunger properly.

Yah, I've already read the FAQ, it'd incredibly old, because it dose work on Steam pretty much fine. Just some slight glitches.

Yah, I'm kinda stuck a bit near the beggining, right after you get your first gun. But I'll figure it our eventually.

For such an old MOD it is pretty cool still.

If the rain's not working (entity) I hope that some of the set pieces (brush-based entities) aren't screwed. For example, if a door is supposed to open of its own accord and it's not working you won't get very far in the Mod.

Try "dev" or "developer 1" in console. Then do "sv_cheats 1" then "noclip". I really don't know if any of those will work but if they do then you can nolip through the bits that don't work. You'll lose quite a bit of the playing experience but you won't have to setup Half-Life in the Sierra folder...

No, I haddent tried the dev or developer 1 thing yet. I will when I get home.
Been so long since I've used cheats in HL games that I totaly forgot about that command.

Arg! Noclip still dose nothing even after using Developer 1 and sv_cheats 1
