Dreamscape has always been all about realism. Realism in human interaction and behavior, Realism in believable stealth styles, but most of all Realism in true ballistics and firearm handling. Get shot in the hand? Don't worry, you wont die from it, just cant use that hand anymore. Cant die by a knife to the leg, but be sure you'll be a limping. But if you get fatally shot, your life will evaporate before your eyes in a matter of milliseconds. No game has brought you totality in real aspects of destruction of the body, and thus, you must take care of it better than any other game before. So take a trip into the underbelly of crime, unforgiving, and ready to bleed you for all you are, body, mind and soul. But ask yourself, is this way of life, really worth saving."

But in real life it is possible to die from a shot to the hand or foot...The shock, itself can be quite deadly. Also, the bloodloss leads to delirium, unconsiousness and death. In other words, it's not realistic, until almost any shot at you will most likely incapacitate you, and that wouldn't be very fun to play.

They should advertise it as movie-realistic...

In some ways the third person is more realistic than the first person - it gives you a realistic view of the surroundings, unlike first person, which gives the impression of having a tunnel vision. It's certainly not entirely realistic, but the best that can be done, until we get some decent virtual goggles.
