HL2 is amazing to me

I haven't had such a rich gaming experience in at least 4 years.

Last night, I put on the headphones and launched HL2 again (3rd time of the evening) and it was about 10 pm. I was completely engulfed in it until I realized that an HOUR AND HALF went by without me even realizing.

I really can't remember what the last game was that sucked me in that deep.

There are so many fantastic moments, yet I can never remember them. I want to stop after experiencing one, and write it down, but I just can't. I have to keep going...but then I forget all of the details!

I do love the physics puzzles. Utilizing Boyancy to lower the bridge in the boat level was just brilliant.

I can't wait to see what else can be developed with this engine. Hey, I don't even have my gravity gun yet!!!

I like how you contemplate writing down your enjoyable game moments. I do that with Battlefield 1942 when something cool happens. Nice thing about single player is you can relive the memories to some extent!

F5 = Screenshot,. or bind it to something easier. Whe I play through again, I'm going to make a photo album so I can remember it all.

Me too! Its exactly like that for me, and then i end up thinking about all the cool stuff in the game while i try to sleep...its now taking me hours to fall asleep -_-

I've got a notepad between my keyboard and monitor now. I'm also taking ingame 'photographs'. When I see something that looks real purty, I compose it and take a screenshot.
