Yes i agree - I think there should be an HL2.net community server As well as a DoD Clan

This is by no means the same as a dedicated hl2.net DoD:S server, but we (hl2.net css clan) are hosting a temporary DoD:S server on our 100 tic server. The server will be online for the majority of the time, although will be taken down for matches, 2-3 times a week between 8 and 10, so feel free to drop by and play some DoD:S with each other on our server:

I myself joined in the action for a couple of hours and i have to say that i love this game !!! Devvo, is your in game name devvo ? A few people from hl2.net made an appearance when i was on.

Just played for 10 minutes on anzio. Could you do me one favor? Could you please delete the TK punishment options like time bomb or blind? Maybe slap him a bit, but blinding a player? On a 16 player server, losing another teammate has quite an impact. And it's also bloody annoying when you accidently TK someone, say sorry and they still blind you :frown:

I feel your pain, it's infuriating when someone insta- kills or blinds etc without giving someone the chance to say sorry. I'll speak to the guy who manages the servers and see if he can do something about that. I know it's annoying, but unfortunately i can't personally modify the options, although i am an admin. When i'm on i do actually post admin messages asking people not to abuse the admin rights, but people don't always take heed. I'm glad you like the server, and i hope you come back on despite the morons who abuse the tk functions

Ok, have spoken to one of our guys, and i asked to have everything but freeze and normal beacon removed. We have to leave a couple of options, otherwise there will be no way for other players to punish deliberate tk'ers !!!

These changes should take effect soon, i hope this is satisfactory
