HL2 popularity score at Gamestats.com

Now we are reading the score popular magazines are giving HL2, with an average of 9,4-9,5(I think), but is HL2 popular?
Well, of course it is, so I found this ranking at Gamestats.com, which is an IGN branch site.
And HL2 actually got a whopping 99,2 GPM(Game Popularity Metric), which is really good: HL2 GPM
But, alas, it still don't have the highest rating, GTA: San Andreas has 0,6 better than HL2: GTA:SA GPM
But still, HL2 got a really good score(especially if you compare it with HL1s score:HL1 GPM )

But if you only look at PC games, an take away console games, HL2 actually is at the top of the list!:PC GPMs

Anyway - Gamespot and IGN's reviews are also pretty vital. I'm sure GregK will pull HL2's score down, as they do with most overhyped games (with the possible exception of Halo 2).

IIRC, 9.4 is the highest score a PC game got on gamespot.

It is number one, in the PC library.

Console games obviously have a bigger fanbase than PC games - if you notice, hl2 is the only pc game in the top ten overall hyped games.
