HL2 Riot Act Strider

How the hell do you get passed the damn strider??? You can't hide from it cos it kills you through the walls, I cant get in the lift thing cos if i do it kills me, I havent got enough ammo to kill it, this is really pissing me off, ive had this mod installed for months and still havent been able to get passed this point. The mods own website has a walthrough which totally omits the strider part, useless!!

Wait until it looks away and sprint like crazy.

When you see it looking at you, hide otherwise you get cannon'd. Rinse and repeat.
