HL2DM Dedicated Server Out of Date

I searched the forum and didn't find anything relevant because it gave me anything with the individual words "server", "out", etc.
I Googled and the only relevant results were either 2-4 years old.
I used the server update tool but it didn't help.
I can run a Pro server and connect to it fine.
When I run a normal HL2DM dedicated server and connect to it using the client from the same machine, I get the "out of date" message.

Can someone please assist me in resolving this?

I fixed it. I had to delete local content, re-launch it so the files/folders would be written to the HDD again, and use the update tool.
