I've played, captured, trimmed and am now encoding the entire game as MPEG-1. The video quality is set to 2000 kbps and the audio at 192 kbps. I used the latest version of Fraps to capture. The audio/video is synced for the first 2/3s of the video I think. There's about a 150-250ms delay in the audio near the last 1/3 I suppose, not the biggest deal. The video is 1 hour and 30 minutes long. I disabled HDR and lowered a setting or two to get better FPS during capture. The video quality doesn't give the graphics much justice anyway. It's 2000 kbps MPEG-1 after all, not 8000 kbps MPEG-2. I want to make a torrent so people can DL it from me easily. I'm using a program called MakeTorrent v2.0. First time using it, looks pretty simple. Can anyone recommend anything else that's easy?
I haven't done any actual editing other than trimming out a few spots, no effects or text added, not even to show it was made by me. I'm not looking for fame, I just wanted to make the video. If you want to download it, show it to your friends and claim you made the video, fill your boots. I don't care.
Cheers.
