How do I bind Keys forever? and something else..

I am kind of tired of typing stuff like "bind v npc_create_equipment_ar2; npc_create npc_combine_s" each time I load HL2. Is it possible to have HL2 read these commands from a custom made text configuration file (or whatever) ?

Also, another thing that is bothering me is that each time I download a mod I need to define keyboard, mouse, video, audio settings. Is it possible to make these settings universal so I don't have to go through all this each time?

Err no you dont have to define keyboard, mouse, video, and audio...and if you keep playing say Garrysmod the keys stay binded...or are you just trying to get help cause you are using a farking warez version?

It's not there by default. You have to create it yourself. Have a look here . Sroll down a couple paragraphs to the "config files" section.

goto, Program files\Steam\Steamapps\Your_user\half-life 2\hl2\cfg\ then open config.cfg > open with notepad and change the settings around there.
