How Do I get Ammo

Okay stupid question but I can't figure out how to reload without someone reloading me (as you know pubs aren't the best for teamwork).

that's why you never step into a pub server without organizing your squad on xfire first.

so far I have yet to play a game where I don't have an HL2.net squad with me.

just make sure to keep everything on semi and you should have plenty of ammo, make every shot count

The problem is I don't have that kind of time. I'm lucky to find an hour of play time in my day; waiting around for a squad just isn't possible for me. Ammo boxes need to be put back in.

Eh you can usually find at least a tinnnyy bit of teamwork on a pub. A lot of times I'll join a pub and there will be a squad of three people on a 64 player server, and they're the only ones working together. I join with them. Usually it's them who determines the entire outcome of the game

when all else fails, kill someone and take their kit.

When you use the command thingy. The one where you can request stuff like backup, theres an option that says "need ammo". If you pick that then support classes on your team show up on your radar as little ammo icons. (Same with medics, say "need medic" and they show up as little red crosses.) Then run to the person on your radar and spam "need ammo" untill he throws some bags on the ground.

Usually works for me, although sometimes there isn't a single support guy in your whole team.
