How do I register when...

I bought the game when it first came out and havent played it for more than 12 months

In that time I have
Changed my email address
Changed my PC (halflife2 no longer installed)
Forgotten my Steam logon
Forgotten the password

I do however have:-
The original disk
The manuals (somewhere)
Original packaging
The game Key on the front of the plastic case
The T-shirt

I tried to install it but need to register with steam, I know I have an account already so can not create a new one. Unfortunately i dont remember my account details.

How can i prove that I legally own the game to get my account details?

you can go to steampowered.com, i think they have a section in the forums explaining what to do. I had that happen to me one time and I contacted steam with my information and proof of purchase (had my reciept in email) and changed my PW for me

I probably don?t have the original receipt but I would have a bank statement showing when I purchased it, maybe I can just scan that.

bank statements dont show what you purchased....so im not sure how that could help you.

I was fortunete enough to find my steam details two years after I last logged in, not to rub it in or anything!
