How do you install new character models?

I've downloaded a few characters and placed the files into addons. I can get to the file on the game, but when I try to spawn the ragdolls I just get a red error. What am I missing?

Erm, you have to paste the model files into models, then paste the material files into materials, then open spawn list and click on that foldericon below your list of pictures, and search for you item.
Or mabye you dont have to paste everything eveywhere and just double click on the model in your addons folder in Gmod by clicking on that folder thingy.
