How many people do you think will be playing CS:S the moment HL2 is released?

Normally there are around 2500 games being played on CS:S, but once HL2 is activated I reckon it'll be around 100

hopefully noone. cs:s is a miserable underachievement and i'm angry that valve replaced multiplayer with it. their logic was "cs was really popular so we thought it would be good to just remake it and have it as the multiplayer" well why didn't they just get pong and put really good graphics on it?! pong was extremely popular as well. so was pacman. they should have made pacman the multiplayer now that i think about it.

i don't know about you but plenty of people have been waiting 6 years for hl2, not for cs with better graphics. therefore, why would they play cs:s right when hl2 is released instead of playing hl2, considering many people have had cs:s for months?

Might be different once the AI is in the game...but i think you are right...CS:S is good to get a glimplse of HL2's possibilities...but mostly a passing fad becasue of the large problems users have had with it.

I agree, everyone will be joining servers and probably plan a big event on CS:S, I dunno maby make a big pile of objects in the center of a room, then evryone throw a grenade at once into the center of the pile.....
