oops, i thought you said you thought it was coming out today, not going gold today . i think it is coming soon, but not today. if you think about it, why would valve pull a stunt like releasing full version of CS:S to hl2 preorderers? to get tons of people to preorder soon right? and why would they want tons of people to preorder soon if the game wasn't coming out for 6 months or whatever

There is a difference between "Gone Gold" and "Released"

Going gold means it is ready for disk making and stuff like that.

And Valve can party all night long.
