How much better will HL2 look when it's released??

OK, I don't pretend to know much about the whole technical side of gaming... but the bink vids were released last year, and, I'm told were running on dx8.

So now dx9 is out, and all the little tweaks have been added by those cool dudes at Valve, how much better will the game look?

Imagine, u load it up on nov 16th and it looks EVEN BETTER than it duz in all them vids. (providing u have a tantric PC)

Just wonderin, seeing as there hasn't been many vids recently released.

Kinda depends on your system. But I think it will look a little better then it did.

Not much difference. Especially since all the reviews are printing screenshots with all settings max. There is no discernable difference between the binks and the screenshots.

Only screenshots from a magazine that really impressed me were from the german pc games review, they had the best screenshots and if its going to look anything like that im happy, cause screenshots i take end up looking better than the ones magazines take.
