How much Hard Disk space is required to run Half-Life 2?

I only have an 8 and a 6 gig hard drive as my 80 gb died.

it's about 4.5 Gb for HL2 alone I think. More if you have CS:S etc.

I was wrong - it's about 4.5 with HL2 + CS:S. About 3.5 with just HL2.

You are using Steam even if you buy it from the shelves. Therefore: 4,5 GB with Steam.
