Hello all. I'm new to the modding community and have a question. I want to make a new map type. I was wondering how I go about doing this. I assume I need to make a server plugin, and code some new entities (different zones, like a bomb zone or hostage rescue zone, but not). Plus, I'd like other people to make maps that use this new type. Where do I start? I have some coding experience, but have never really coded for a game. I don't want to make an entirely new mod, I just want an extra map type, like I said I figure it'll need to be a plugin.
