Hi,

I have recorded some WAV files using Audacity, and I wish to use them in Hammer as voices, For example:

I want to be wallking along, an then a combine turns around and starts to speak my WAV file. I don't need to know any of the hammer trigger stuff, what I need to know is how, can you use your own sounds in hammer.

Or at least where is the sound cashe so I can coppy my WAV files into it.

If you understood anything I just said please, answer back, im really stumped on this one.

Thanks a lot, any help is very welcome.

open up face poser. and look on the wiki for the tutorials on using face poser. this well tell you everything you need to know. you basicly need to create the scene so the combine turning to face the player. then link to it in hammer. as i said its all in the wiki.

whoops forgot to mention. for this you wont need to lip sync it as its a combine and they wear masks but if you do speach for a character you need to download the microsoft api 5.0 i think it is. then you can auto lip sync your speach.
