Since many people want to have a countdown desktop, here's an short step-by-step guide for Windows XP users.
1. Find a nice HL2-countdown as your wallpaper
This is the one I use:
http://hem.bredband.net/robest/countdown/index.html
2. Download the SOURCE of the countdown:
http://hem.bredband.net/robest/hl2countdown.rar
3. UNRAR the .rar file to D:\countdown
4. Right click your desktop, Properties > Desktop > Browse > Locate D:\countdown > Choose index.html > DONE
5. Now the icons looks like shite, choose your background color to this:
R: 76
G: 88
B: 68
under Custom Colours.
