How will the Source leak cheating in MP?

How will the leak of the source code effect cheating in MP bit of HL2? when the game gets released should i expect the servers to be overrun with cheaters straight away? i have no idea how cheats are written or how they work and so i dont if the leak will effect this at all.

I heard that in MP it was ment to be much harder to cheat, is this now out the window?

thats why the game is getting delayed. its to fix those bugs...
so no there shouldn't be many cheaters in mp, BUT! you can nver get rid of cheating completely

but they have lost the entire source, correct? so there must be a million was for cheat programmers to figure out how to get around the system.
that means that they will never be able to control the cheaters. right?

you can never control cheaters, in every game there are cheaters, expect for the few months before release for there to be more than average cheaters but there wont be that many cos there remaking the mp source, they will release patches later to cover up things they will have overlooked.
