Hey, I hate to call myself a newb since i have been looking through the boards for well over a month now. But i decided to what the heck and start posting. Dont really know what to say here, but just want to say hi.

Also just a quick question, i have never played Half Life, i know i know. I dare i say something like that in these boards. Well the truth is i only became a serious gamer less than a year ago. So i guess the most obvious question would be would playing the original half life help me understand half life 2. This is truly the best boards for Half Life, so cya around da boards.

Whats up? Well, you can play hl if you have a cs cd key or something and steam. I trust valve to make the hl2 storyline have a prologue or recap, or be awesome standalone, but yeah. play half life 1, as it rules. Find a way
