Hmm... the sounds, animations, and textures are all fantastic, but the guns themselves look like they were carved out of wood or something. I'm not a fan of that "contoured, but flat" look at all. Oh well, looks great quality, and I loved that moment in the beginning of one video where the guy pops his helmet open. That was pretty sweet.

The helmet's a placeholder. The guns will be getting changed in some cases in response to comments raised by resident gun fanatics in the HB community (read the comments in the thread), and the map was purely for the test.

There's also a sound test file on the forums which includes some of the OST (original soundtrack) written by experts in the field including a games industry veteran and a professional sound studio.

The forums are well worth a look for anyone interested in a futuristic team multiplayer mod where you play as an 'astronaut of war' in a fully crafted universe (read the full storyline in the forums).

Fixed. It's not the final site design, it's a temporary one which is more functional than the previous one.

No, it's just that this is the mod I'm most following at the moment. I'm up to date on pretty much everything that's been released to the public.

[Edit] Oh, and if it sounds like I'm advertising the mod, I am (because I think it has enormous potential and I know it has an incredibly capable and dedicated team behind it). It's also because I noticed that nobody in this thread had given any indication of what the game's about so I thought I'd make sure that anyone who might be interested by the genre and gameplay was sure to check it out.
