I a little help guys plz

i was wondering if any one knew if there was a way to play HL2 mods
with the Source Multiplayer Pack. if so could you guys email me @ [email protected] it would be so great if i were able to play mods like garys mod and other thanks for your help.

you need half-life 2 to play HL2 mods.

yeah i thought the same thing untill awhile ago. visit http://dystopia-game.com/downloads (you know the mod of the year for hl2 ) and they have this patch on the download page that installs a fix that lets you play dystopia on half life2 deathmatch. and you dont even have to have half life 2 installed

So what's the problem? Download Dyistopia and download the patch.
Edit: Most mods will not make such a patch. Anyway most MP mods will probably be based off HL2DM and not HL2SP anyway.
