I cannot get my half life 2 model to work :(

I downloaded a lovely MP7 mod for the MP7 (oddly enough) and I installed it to C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\User\Half-Life 2\hl2

which, I got from the site I found it on... And it does nothing.

It says when I extract the 2 folders "models" and "materials" from the .zip, it should say blah blah wanna overwrite? Mine doesn't, I don't have a models or materials folder

Just create the folders your self and throw them in. The game looks in those files first for weapon/player models and if there is nothing there it takes the origanals from the .gcf files.

Just make the files your self extract the textures in materials and the model in models and your sorted.

I'm saying I don't have Materials or Models. The ZIP file has them set up already with the 2 folders. I extract those two folders to the appropriate directory, and it doesn't work. I've tried putting them in different places, renaming the folders to upper and lower case, etc. Nothing works. I have both of those folders yet it does not install the model.

If you want I can give you a link to the mod and you can see for yourself.
