when you do them does the shit in your stomach start gargling louder and louder? i usually do 3 sets of 100 before i go to bed and i swear by the 200th crunch anything solid in my bowels has turned to gelontonus festering gooberpile. and now i can wiggle my stomach and i can hear it mooshing around.
 
try throw downs. Lay on your back and grab onto like your bed's legs or something, and keep your lower back on the ground, but lift your feet in the air. Then throw your feet down (left side, right side, or center) and try and stop them from hitting the ground.

Those work so good. You don't even need to do that many of them.
