I have found the best scene ever in a movie...ever

ah, i love that movie. Tarantino writing at its best (he wrote but didnt direct)

i assume that's the trailer scene?

Oh yes. I recently saw this movie. Definitely a great scene.

no, i mean the scene in the trailer, with christian slater's dad

and christopher walken being a bad ass mother****er

eh, I still perfer, "Say "What" again! C'mon, say "What" again! I dare ya, I double dare ya mother****er, say "What" one more goddamn time!"

...

"w...what?"

------------or----------------------

"When you came pulling in here, did you notice a sign out in front of my house that said Dead ****** Storage?"
"Jimmie, you know I ain't seen no..."
"Did you notice a sign out in front of my house that said Dead ****** Storage?"
"No, I didn't."
"You know WHY you didn't see that sign?"
"Why?"
" 'Cause it ain't there, 'cause storing dead ******s ain't my ****ing business, that's why!"

those are from Pulp Fiction though, not True Romance

...yea, but the title doesn't say it has to be from true romance.

it's not a question, but okay :P

pulp fiction is my favorite tarantino movie anyway, and both of those scenes are great, particularly the first one.

DO THEY SPEAK ENGLISH IN WHAT?

Tarantino lost all respect from me with the release of both Kill Bills. That scene, though, is good.

well, i agree about the plot, but it kept me entertained. the soundtrack was pretty good, too.

Kill Bill was just one long action sequence with a horrid plot in between, I don't give a shit what kinda style it was going for, it sucked

I happened to enjoy Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2. And as mentioned the soundtrack is quality(especially of Vol. 2).

I personally LOVED kill bill vol.1, it was brilliant; That one plot in the restuarant with that asian gang, I loved that part, Bodies flying every where. THe amount of blood in that movie is sumed up imo as " ****ing f**ktastic" it was great. :D

although, Kill Bill vol.2 wasn't as good as the first, but I liked when she steped on that girls eyeball. :P
I expected more for the Black Mamba vs. Bill fight scene, not a quick 25 second fight then filled with talk...then he walks to pick where to die.

No it wasn't. The only action scene of any real significance was the House of Blue Leaves fight and it was absolutely amazing. The second movie had one fight scene in Bud's trailer that was about 5 minutes long. If you didn't like it fine, but at least try to insult it accurately.

Personally, I loved them both, but especially Vol. 2. Best western since Once Upon a Time in the West. It would even give Pulp Fiction a good run for its' money if the entire story had been told from that style, I loved Vol. 1 too but I'm just not that into kung fu movies.

I think the Kill Bill movies was more a quiet, mental actioner. Yeah the plot was pretty straightforward, but the characters is really waht the movies were all about. The assassins motive for doing what they do and double-crossing each other somewhere down the line. Then the final scenes we get with Bill and how he recieves his fate is just so vunerably empowering because he simply over-reacted to her leaving him. And in the end after shes gotten her revenge, she cries with tears of sadness and happiness. Something she cant comprehend for the reasons why she had to pursue Bill so intensely. I think the Kill Bill films is an excellent progression and description into the main point.

The road of revenge is a heart-breaking journey into vanity.

Just look what 9/11 made Bush do.

Kill Bill=Arguably Tarantino's best film.

True Romance is great though, I really need to watch it again.

Heh, when I read the thread title, my immediate thought was 'whatever this scene is, I bet it isnt as good as the trailer scene in True Romance'.

ah, i love that movie. Tarantino writing at its best (he wrote but didnt direct)

IIRC, Tarantino didnt write most of this scene - it was ad-libbed. Which goes to show how awesome these two are as actors.

I've NEVER seen True Romance..maybe I need to see it now D:

PS I really liked Kill Bill
