In the last part of Water Hazard (where you open up the water-gate in the dam and jump through into Black Mesa East), I was fooling around, recording demos of the jumps you can do here and I acidentally jumped all the way to the top of the dam, and then over the other side to Black Mesa East. I got lucky and caught it on a demo, but I haven't been able to do it again. If someone could perfect it, it would save a bunch of time in a speed demo!!!
I hit the log on the right with my left pontoon and it tossed me into the exposed corner of the submerged container (the big red box that the logs are leaning on) and just launched me like a rocket up to the top of the dam.
If anyone knows where I can post the demo, I'd be happy to. I'd like to know if some really good player can do this "at will", or if it was just a miracle fluke. I;ve attempted to repeat it about 14.7 million times and can't. :angry:
