Im on the level/chapter 'Water Hazard', and i have just defeated the big gunship in the water craft...thingy...

So i was wondering what the number of the chapter im on is? OR what chapter is 'water hazard'?

i just wanted to know ya see coz i dont wanna FLY thru the game and it be over in no time...i like to take my time...

in the menu, click "new game", then scroll down the different chapters. it should give you an idea of where you are.

You're just getting started.. the airboat sequence is pretty early in the game.

I'll mention that it would be a good idea to really take your time at every moment that you're not being chased to explore the world.... you'll find out a lot more about the story and what's gone on in between HL1 and 2 if you do.

yeah, im really glad to hear that the airboat section is early on in the game...

however i just entered Ravenholm now, and i cant help but feel that the E3 vids spoiled that section quite a bit...with the buzzsaws and stuff...still AMAZING to play that out tho...

I cant believe how amazing this game is...i had very high expectations for it and i must say that its definately lived up to these...is it just me or are the sound effects in this game spectacular? it's as if ive been waiting for guns to sound the way they do in HL2 for years in games...Theres something completely satisfying about the sound of the pistol and the sub machine gun...

anyway, thanks for yur answers :thumbs:
