i need help (spoiler)

so i heard that one or more charaters die in episode 2 which i don't have yet. i have half life 2 and episode 1 but i havn't finished half life 2 yet so i've been holding off on playing episode 1, mainly due to a problem i'm having with the looking keys. i've already started a thread on that problem in the episode 1 section, sorry i didn't see the tech support section before i posted. anyway, can i have a list of ALL confirmed dead in hl2 and both episode 1 and 2 if it's not to much trouble. the curiousity is killing me, i just gotta know and i can't wait.
 
I refuse to spoil the game for you. Half of the experience in Episode Two would be lost if you knew. I myself had the story spoilt, and I regret it dearly.

If you want to know, why don't you just search Google?
 
i also want to help u spoil the game for urself, but it would be less fun than playing the game and finding out urself...

ps: lets just tell him nobody dies then maybe he'll be less curious :O
 
don't give me that please, i need to know this so i can be better prepared. there are some things i really don't like to be spoiled about, a really awsome movie, or episodes of a show i like. games are not really one of those things. character deaths, especially if i like them, can be a little hard to get over for me, but they're even harder if i don't know who dies. take tara's death in buffy. she was my favourity charater in that show and i was shocked when i found out she was to die senclessly. but then when i saw it, it took my a week to get over, even thought she was a fictional charater. it's the same with janet fraiser from stargate sg-1. i found out about her death is a book and was still shocked when i saw her die so suddenly. just tell me please, by now most of you must know, i just need to know too.
 
Or search for it on this site.... theres alot of threads that montions it
 
What do you mean by 'problem with the looking keys'? Use the mouse to look around, not the arrow keys.

Carson getting blown up in Atlantis was shoc- OH SHIT!
 
i know, i heard something was supposed to go terrible wrong for a main charater when i bought the dvd and i spend hours just trying to find out and i did while i was watching the episode about 20 minutes before his death. and to see him get blown apart so suddenly, but i hear he got cloned by micheal, just don't tell me how, i'm buying the dvd when it comes out in july, just after my birthday, wee. seriously, i only seen sg-1 seasons 6-10 on dvd and i've only seen atlantis and buffy on dvd so it get's a little better each time i see them go.

Dog 'dies' while saving Alyx from some falling debris in one section of the game. In Episode 2 you can see Alyx working on another prototype for Dog, which might make an appearance in Episode 3.

Half-Life 2: Episode two:
Kleiner dies while firing a rocket (I think it was a sattelite) into space. Magnusson is introduced in Episode 2 to create another scientist character. According to his readouts, the explosion that killed Kleiner was caused by a little bit extra weight on an important part of the rocket ship--thought to be Lamarr.

The Episode One was the worst. The look on
Alyx's
face when it happens almost broke my heart. I think the trade off we received in Episode 2 lessened what would have been an otherwise brutal blow.

Yeah, pretty much accurate. You left out
Barney being mortally wounded and placed in a "suspended animation" state until he may be healed with Aperture nanotechnology (what we probably end up retrieving in Episode Three).

i'm suprised by kleiner, but not so much with dog, after he had his little rampage in half life 2 after escaping nova prospekt.

I didn't add that in because I assume it's not an actual death (We will see in Episode 3). Good reminder though.
 
Now that you're prepared for the worst, what are you waiting for...! Go and play Ep 1 and 2, they are excellent.
 
i want to finish half life 2 first before i play episode one but i don't have episode 2, yet.
 
You should probably buy the Orange Box, as it's 2 extra games (both of which are amazing) at a fraction of the price.

i've heard about portal, insame roboturrets or something and i'm assuming it's either tf2 or tf source, if it exists but i don't know if i can find it and i found an episode 1 and 2 pack at toys'r'us for about 30 dollars canadian but i didn't pick it up yet, if it's still there when i get paided i'll buy it and just wait on playing.

Team Fortress 2 is pretty awesome.
Portal, on the other hand, is a game that you will learn to love more than you love your own mother. It will become your new god.

Oh, and Trinity dies. Snape kills her with Rosebud after he finds out he's been a ghost the entire time.

I don't think you quite understand the game. In the other thread you claim you don't like the gameplay getting in the way, but in this thread you claim you don't want the cinematic experience...

Well what the hell do you play the game for then!?

So, you want to know who dies in Half Life 2, but not how Carson is cloned by Micheal?
I'm kinda annoyed about him being back, that new woman is cute.
But, if you change your mind:
He got cloned when he was looking after the Wraith that got turned into Humans, Sheppard and the team find him and get him back to Atlantis. But the clone can't live for long with out an injection that was given to "Carson" weekly,(I think) so they put him in stasis until they can recreate the injection.

apparently the majority of you use the mouse to look around and i have been chastised for only using the keyboard to play. the key's i was refering to are the look up and look down keys. they are for me page up and page down. for some reason they don't function in episode one and half life source. someone graciously told me a command for the console that reenables them, unfortunatly it disables the mouse completly which is what it's supposed to do. i've tried several time to tell my side and it's led to nothing but trouble. if you want the thread it's under the half life 2 episode one thread you should see it.
